We converted this 1950’s one-story home in Brentwood into a two-story residence, re-working all of the facades and renovating the majority of the first floor. The design features an updated version of the “butterfly” roof, lifting to reveal views from the ocean to dowtown L.A. The new steel staircase, with floor-to-ceiling glass, fills the entire home with light and connects the first floor living space with the 1,000 square foot master suite on the second floor.
