Originally
a car repair shop, this 1500 square foot space was transformed into a trendy
maternity clothing store. The design concept was to provide clean, simple
and elegant display boxes on wheels to allow for flexibility and prominent
merchandising. The floors are concrete, the wood beam ceiling is stained
chocolate brown and the display boxes are birch plywood. The center of
the store is the cash wrap display area.
Toward the back of the store is a
seating lounge, dressing rooms and additional display and merchandising. A
new glass storefront was cut into the façade to allow for western light and visual
exposure from the street.
