We transformed what once was a series of two storefronts on Pico Boulevard into an open, light-filled law office. The plan includes an undulating ribbon of cabinetry in the center of the space, shaping the work areas of the paralegals and assistants. Offices along the perimeter of the space are partitioned with partial-height walls, metal screens and storefront glazing to allow light to filter through the entire space.
These design elements, along with the newly exposed wood beams, oversized pendant lighting and multiple skylights makes the office feel less corporate and more loft-like. The blue color of the office exterior also wraps along the interior perimeter walls, creating a visual cohesiveness between outside and inside.
