i4 Design'Dressed to Thrill' by Lisa Skolnik
'No wonder the Chicago design world was watching when Pinto had to pick the professionals to transform her 2,000 square foot space from the decrepit deli it once was to a signature boutique. True to form, the perspicacious designer surprised, hiring Elissa Scrafano and designer Scott Heuvelhortst, who both have under the radar names on the local design map for now. Scrafano worked for Frank Gehry and others before opening her namesake in 1997, which now has offices in both Chicago and Los Angeles. She has racked up an appreciable oeuvre of contemporary projects.'
