As the daughter of an engineer and the granddaughter of a poet, Debbie Gloria finds architecture to be the right blend of technology and art. She brings over 15 years of experience in custom residential architecture and over 5 years of experience as a green building consultant to Scrafano Architects. Before joining the team, she worked at Koffka Phakos Design and Hablinski & Manion Architecture. As project manager at the green building consulting firm Greenform, she managed the LEED certification process for a wide range of project types from institutional to single family residential.
With a science background and a deep curiosity to figure out how things work, Debbie enthusiastically trained as a BPI Building Analyst to test single family homes for building performance and became a HERS Rater through CalCERTS. When she’s not working on architecture, she is working to improve the efficiency of homes.
Debbie’s other interests include traveling with her partner, Gary, to see great architecture (of course) but also to see the workings of large infrastructure, such as the amazing Dutch waterworks and the remnants of German coal mining and steel making.
